The ROLE:
As a Trainee Precision Ag Specialist, you will work alongside our experienced team to learn how to install, calibrate, and support precision agriculture technology and agricultural machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for agriculture and technology who is looking to build a long-term career in the industry.
In this role, you will assist with delivering and installing a wide range of agricultural equipment on farms, including low and high-horsepower tractors, hay equipment, spray equipment, and combine harvesters.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation and setup of precision agriculture equipment and systems.
- Learn to support clients with GPS, mapping, data collection, and equipment calibration.
- Participate in on-farm demonstrations and training sessions.
- Stay up to date with the latest precision ag technologies and trends.
- Work closely with the sales and service teams to support customer needs.
- Assist with delivering and commissioning agricultural machinery.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Previous farming or machinery experience is an advantage but not essential.
